CAI at Dr.Chef RICK STEPHEN'S CULINARY WORKSHOP HELD AT GRT GRAND HOTEL,CHENNAI ON 12th JUNE-2015

 

The 3rd Years were privileged to attend Chef Stephen Rick’s Culinary Workshop at GRT Grand Hotel, Chennai on 12th June 2015. It was indeed a master class from a master chef. Dr. Chef Rick Stephen, the WACS Continental Director of Asia is a certified Master Chef (CMC) and an Executive Chef of SATS Ltd. He has played a vital role in nurturing young minds of Singapore, Fiji, Malaysia, Australia and India. He has held the position of Executive Chef, SATS in flight Catering Center 1 since 2009. Right from the inauguration till the round table meeting of selected students he mesmerized us with his vast knowledge of Culinary Arts, Team Management, Leadership, Gestures and Dedication towards one’s passion. During the workshop he gave us a lot of knowledge about Plating for Competitions, Deboning a chicken in 30 seconds and lot of experiences of him in the Culinary Industry. It was a great learning experience with Chef Rick at his workshop as he has imparted and motivated us with a lot of knowledge. We hope to see him again and enlighten us with his words and culinary skill.
