The Independence Day of India - 2023

The Independence Day of India, which is celebrated throughout the Country on the 15th of August every year, holds tremendous ground in the list of national festivals, since it reminds every Indian about the dawn of a new beginning, the beginning of an era of deliverance. It was on 15th August 1947 that India was declared independent from British colonialism, and the reins of control were handed over to the leaders of the Country. India's gaining of independence was a tryst with destiny, as the struggle for freedom was a long and tiresome one, witnessing the sacrifices of many freedom fighters, who laid down their lives on the line. Not only is India's Independence Day a historic celebration which makes one remember and honour the mighty sacrifices our courageous leader and fighters put forward for our country, but also a day to take pride, celebrate and respect our noble country's rich honour, valour, rich history, culture and tradition.

Brand CAI has been celebrating Independence with much fanfare from the day of its inception in 1996. This year too, 15th August was celebrated with lots of enthusiasm and togetherness. The entire academy had a festive spirit with decorations of tri colour made balloons. Chewf Attique Senior Faculty Hoisted the Flag and students were all dressed up in Traditional Indian clothing and each had a unique smile on their faces.  It was nice to see all these young budding culinarians out of their chef attire and singing the National Anthem in the traditional Indian attire. Being a culinary School, food definitely had to be the centre of attraction too. Samaosa, Kachori, Chudwa, Hot Jalebis and Among Flavored Milk were served to each one of them after hoisting the flag .

15th August is one such festival where every single Indian celeberate’s without any differentiation. To mark and respect the words of the Government “Har Ghar Tirangaa” every student, staff, faculty of Brand CAI sported the tri colour badge on their dress..
