Diwali Celbrations started early here at CAI as Batch-B of Second Years dedicated their theme setup to The Festival of Lights.The restaurant was indeed lit up with vivid colourful lights and so were the faces of our special guests with bright smiles.'Shubh Aarambh' meaning 'Good Beginning' was the name given to the restaurant, apt to mark the starting of our festive season.The student wore T-Shirts baring the name and warm welcoming smiles.Food that goes without saying in any of the major festivals and CAI was very well appreciated by the faculty who enjoyed the variety of dishes out students prepared with passion and indeed with pleasure.Students were appreciated for the tremendous work they put in with a helping hand of their seniors and guidance and vision of their co-ordinator Chef Nihit Chandra. We wish all a very happy prosperous and safe Diwali, may it lighten up everyone's lives.
The food was festive flavours starting with a warm Murgh Goli Shorba,Dhania Tamatar Ka Shorba,with starters Harabhara Kebab,Thule Zambur,Tandoori Jheenga,Murgh Makhani.The high lights were Mutton Kohlapuri,Sarson Ka Saag,Bowlihandi,Panchmeldal,Plain rice,Butter Naan,Loochi,corn salad,Aloo chana chat followed by the Dessert- Gajar Ka Halwa,Vanilla Ice Cream.
