Culinary Bout- judged by CAI expertise

Palm Fest is the annual flagship event of Palm Meadows, a gated community in Kompally. It is a month-long celebration of sports and cultural events through various competitions. It is open exclusively to residents of Palm Meadows, attended by young and old alike. The festival continues with much fanfare from mid-July culminating in a gala event and prize distribution on August 15. This year the cultural events included elocution, story-telling, painting and dance for children. inging, skit competition and sports activities were open to all. The cookery competition was xclusively for women residents; and consisted of Vegetarian, Non-vegetarian and Dessert categories. The judges for this event were from the renowned hotel management institute, Culinary Academy of India, Begumpet. The fest ended on 15th August 2014 with a closing ceremony, presentation of mementoes and various performances by the residents. It was a cultural extravaganza, celebrated with much fervour and enthusiasm.
