Culinary Academy of India celebrated its Christmas Gala Buffet on Saturday, 24th December, 2016.As always the academy known for creating out of the box experience, once again repeated the feat by making a theme buffet titled – “The most different cakes displayed at a single venue” It is a world record in the making and it will surely make its entry into the history books. Five Hundred and Nine cakes, each weighing between 1to 2kg were on display on this day. It was quite surprising to see that no cake was identical to each other in the looks. Fresh Cream, Butter Cream, Marzipan, Fondant, Classical, Tarts and Pies, Three Dimensional, Modern and Contemporary all were on display. It was a mouthwatering, yummy and the sweetest buffet one could witness. The student chefs and Chef Instructors of the academy worked for 150 hours continuously to create this record event.It was also supported by their Alumni ‘Guilt Trip’ and ‘Hazelnut’ bakery. Mr.Elvis Stephenson, MLA, Telangana Legislative Assembly was the Chief Guest for the occasion. The entire Hotel Industry, Faculty and students of various Hotel Management Colleges and friends and well-wishers flocked the venue to witness this breathtaking event.The electronic media was as always very cooperative in covering this event.
