It was way back in 1996 that India got its first full fledged Culinary Arts Institution INDIAN ACADEMY OF CATERING TECHNOLOGY & CULINARY ARTS then now CULINARY ACADEMY OF INDIA (BRAND CAI) affiliated to Osmania University which offered a Bachelor's Degree In Catering Technology & Culinary Arts for the first time in India.Those times it was only Hotel Management offered by the National of Hotel management & Catering Technology-New Delhi . It was a batch of 24 students who enrolled for a Professional Culinary Arts course in 1996 and passed out in 1999. Its already 25 Years that these graduates have come out of college and are known for their unique qualification which they received in Culinary Arts in India.Today at least 15 of them are well settled in different parts of the world in the culinary profession and few settled in India and doing good as Educators, Entrepreneurs and Corporate Heads .THIS MAKES THE BRAND FEEL PROUD for whatever they have achieved .
On the occasion of completing 25 Years a small get together and felicitation was organised in a Resort in Chirala for those who made it from Abroad as well as the people working in India.Chef Sudhakar N Rao Director/Principal BRAND CAI presented them with Appreciation Mementos for their achievements and service to the Culinary industry.
