The modules explain the technical aspects such as use of chemicals, PPE and machinery, right postures and methods while working.The content clarifies the responsibilities and duties for their specific roles as housekeeping stewards / stewardesses. It talks about the protocols and procedures needed on the ship for security and a smooth functioning system. The main activities such as sweeping, mopping, public toilet cleaning,3 bucket system, garbage segregation and disposal, and room services duties are taught in theory as well as practiced in practical sessions.The crew is also made aware of the hygiene and sanitation practices, uniform and grooming standards as well as the importance of environmental compliance.
