BRAND CAI AT ICE 2018

The 10th edition of ICE, ICE 2018 was held on the 16th - 17th November 2018 at HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad (Telangana).A workshop was conducted on the 17th Novemeber from 2.30 pm to 4:30 pm on the Nutrition Science on Eggs titled "Unscramble the Nutrition Science on Eggs"

The students of the Post Graduate in Culinary Arts and the Craft Certificate course in Food Production were registered for this event.

 The following topics were discussed during the seminar

1. Eggs - Major Source of Protein

2. Eggs- Dietary Friend or Foe?

3. EGGcellent fun facts about eggs.different tips & tricks of preparing eggs

 Dr. Chef Soundararajan, General Secretary, Indian Federation Of Culinary Institute(IFCA) , Chairman Marketing Committee of Worldchefs and the corporate Executive chef of Mahindra Holidays was the Keynote speaker .

 Dr. Vani Srinivas , a leading Nutritionist from Hyderabad presented the Nutrition aspects of Egg .

 Chef Ankit Mathur, Chef Instructor from Culinary Academy of India , Hyderabad did a live demonstration of cooking of the eggs. Apart from using fresh eggs he also demonstrated the use of Egg Powder and Frozen eggs which prove to be more hygienic for use than fresh eggs.

 Dr.Chef Sounderarajan also conducted an Egg Gourmet quiz amongst the participants of various colleges. The team from Culinary Academy of India won the Gold Medal.
