The Indian Federation of Culinary Associations (IFCA) conducted its Seventh International Chefs Conference, at Pullman Hotel, New Delhi on the 1st,2nd and 3rd September,2017. A total of 1000 chefs from all the hotels and restaurants of India were part of the conference. Chef Thomas Guggler, President of the World Association of Chefs Societies was present for all the three days to observe and be a part of the Conference. The three days witnessed eminent speakers from India and Abroad, Live and artistic cooking competitions and great food with a theme attached. Brand CAI, the Education Partner of the event represented itself with the maximum number of delegates from a single company. 110 Budding student chefs along with the Director/Principal, Head of the Department and Chef Instructors travelled to Delhi from Hyderabad to be a part of this one of its kind event. Chef Sudhakar Rao addressed all the young chefs in the conference during the Young Chefs Meet. Brand CAI , Culinary Academy of India was honored with the award of the Best Culinary Institute which was received by the Director/Principal Chef Sudhakar N Rao in the presence of the August gathering. Chef Akshay Kulkarni, Head of the Department, Brand CAI was conferred with the Best Culinary Educator award for being an outstanding trainer with excellent track record in the field of Food Production. Three days was wonderful learning, great food, excellent net working and loads of memories to carry along.
